In the first six months of 2024, our province welcomed nearly 1.7 million tourists, including nearly 223,000 international visitors and over 1.4 million domestic tourists (an increase of 19.1% compared to the same period in 2023, achieving 52.8% of the annual plan); the total revenue from tourism reached over 4,000 billion VND.

Some tourist attractions that draw many visitors for sightseeing and experiences include Km0 Milestone, Tha Village Community Cultural Tourism Village, Quan Ba Twin Mountains, Dong Van Ancient Street, Lung Cu National Flagpole, Pa Vi Ha Mong Village Community Cultural Tourism Village, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River, and more.
To attract tourists, in the past six months, the tourism sector has implemented various comprehensive solutions, focusing on directing tourist sites, tourism businesses, and service providers in the province to proactively organize activities to serve tourists. This includes reviewing and rectifying tourist sites and destinations that pose safety risks, regularly inspecting the activities of tour guides, continuing to apply information technology, and promoting tourism through various forms. The sector also strengthens cooperation and development partnerships in tourism.
In the last six months of the year, the province will continue to effectively implement Resolution 11, dated August 4, 2021, by the Provincial Party Committee on tourism development for the 2021–2025 period, and Program 29 of the Provincial Party Committee on implementing Resolution 08 of the Politburo on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector. At the same time, the province will focus on directing the relevant departments to strengthen state management in the tourism sector, guide and support the construction of exemplary cultural tourism villages linked to the “One Commune, One Product” program, implement some policies to encourage and support tourism development, and innovate and improve the quality of information, promotion, and tourism marketing activities.
